We buy, sell, trade, consign, and service vintage and modern amps, instruments, and pro audio gear. We also deal in equipment for home recordists like microphones, small format desks, preamps, and software. We carry a boatload of pedals. Did I mention sound reinforcement? We have PA speakers and amps, both rack-mount and stand-alone with the lil’ graphic EQ. We don’t service home theater or home audio gear unless it’s old and has tubes in it.

Many of the lovely vintage and nearly new items under the ‘merchandise’ tab above are being sold on consignment. When you elect to consign an item we’ll agree on a fair price then sell it for you, with a 70/30 cut in your favor.

Looking for new stuff? We carry a selection of pedals, accessories and other surprises to blow your mind.  We proudly stock locally made pedals from Blackout Effectors and endangered audio research. We also have great-sounding one-off tube amps made by us and other people, for cheap dollars.

Lastly, we are known for repair and design of electronics: we fix large broken audio stuff on site and small stuff in our shop, write firmware in different flavors of .asm for microcontrolled things, tweak your analog designs for improved performance, and layout and install recording studios, all with a competence that is deep but feels relaxed.
